Four seasons, one binder

Portal Cedar Way teaches households to touch their treasury binder four times a year. Each session follows the same opening ritual: clear the table, lay out passbooks, clip the checklist to the cover, and brew tea. The routine is deliberate, not rushed.

Spring (March)

Focus on tuition installments and insurance renewals that cluster after the new school year planning begins. Reconcile gift envelopes from Lunar New Year. Remove tabs that stayed empty through winter.

Summer (June)

Review travel and vacation reserves. File health check receipts before monsoon humidity wrinkles paper edges. Update the index card if a child opened a first passbook.

Autumn (September)

Prepare Chuseok gift ledgers. Photocopy worn policy documents. This is the busiest quarter for many Seoul families — book coached sessions early.

Winter (December)

Archive prior-year slips to the archival pocket. Pre-label holiday envelopes. Confirm bonus allocation lines in the ledger before year-end statements arrive.
